I DO BELIEVE SOME SCHOOLS KILLS CREATIVITY. BECAUSE THEY REALLY FOCUS ON GRADES NOT CREATIVEITY WHEN ALOT OF PEOPLE HAVE OTHER TALENTS. SO DON'T BE QUICK TO JUDGE OUR CHILDREN EACH CHILD IS UNIQUE IN THEIR OWN WAY!

(Kareem Parks CD101 )I agree, with nurturing creativity I think it all goes back to culture and generation, I think that creativity separates people from one another and that helps educate people one the fact that yes we are created equally but we all are different and someone might have a talent that u don’t or can maybe teach you something that you never knew. Being creative to me means willing to learn and be open to new ideas sometimes with children they grasps more toward thing that excite them in those masseurs should be used to help children learn the basic skills of life and education as far as reading ,writing and math but as they have fun with creativeness we must learn, I think anyone can learn if they are interested in having fun for example when you make up songs or rhyme to remember terms or something for a test that’s creative learning ….
AMAZING, AMAZING AMAZING! I not only agree with him, I fully beleive strongly that this is the way education is today and pretty much always! Something needs to be done sooner then later. Starting with our youth. The one's just going into education. WHAT PERSON decided that a 6 year old needed to be tested in order to move on to the next grade! It's ridiculous!

there are so many teachers that do thing by the book. they need to step out of there box a little bit and start letting the kids be creative.kids have some much energy and creativity inside of them. if they dont release it, it will come out in negative ways. i noticed that most schools dont even have gym, recess or free time anymore.the system must change. our kids are heading for distruction!!!

I agree schools mostly focus on grades, tests, test scores and staying off academic probation. But they don’t show children how to be creative enough. There’s a lot of ways to learn but schools have their focus elsewhere. And like people say culture and generation, plays a lot in to education because many students live and learn by their culture and generation this new generation is losing focus on school so there needs to be a new and better approach on education for them because they learn different. And I think that creativity separates people from one another also and helps educate people. Students get tired of the same old same old reading, math, writing, and history. But if we add creativity to the learning process you could get them to focus on learning in a better view.
creativity is needed in schools because it helps students explore the world in adifferent way. If every teacher took part of class time to let their students be creative about one of the subjects being taught for the day this might help them to learn the subject better. Anquinetta Butler
I will stay, every child should be looked at as individual person. They have their own uniqueness about their self. We as people have different views of how people may or may not understand why people do things that may not benifit others. We are taught very different. Cultures plays a large part in our live. We learn for our families what we believe to be right.
I believe that to be true what sarah Perry said" how children aren't able to express theirself". following rule are good sometime but, when it comes to a child expressing their feelings there should be an exception to see what the out come maybe. Children are innocence their just acting out their surrounding. this should be observe. we as adult can also learn from children too. This will also stop bad things from acuring in their lives. we as teachers and adults should stand our grounds and be a helper in all situation.
Zenobia Barker. We need to let our children express there creative side and don't hinder them.Grades are important but self-expression is important as well. Kids need io be able to spread their wings.
Rosemarie Quintana CD 109
I Also Agree There are some schools that do not focus on creativity which is terrible because how are children suppose to express there self instead of school worrying about grades. children should be able to paint, draw etc not just worry about school work. I believe every child has a gift and should be able to express it in there own way!!!
danyale mitchell. i feel that in some cases some TEACHERS may kill creativity but NOT the schools. It is based on the objectives of teachers and how they want their students to express themselves. Some teachers just want students to do their work and get a good grade. But other teachers do take time out to let students do different things and create different project expressing their creativity and how they feel.
I agree that creativity is so important. We as educators are so "old fashioned" or "set in old ways". We forget that we need to also focus on the children. What's going to keep them interested. What are different types of ways to teach them, but also, what are different types of ways they can learn.
I agree with sir ken I think that creativity is important as literacy and we treat it the same with as a great deal of importance. Children learn differently and without creativity I believe great ideas and development could be lost. He made a great point when he stated,” We don’t grow into creativity we grow out of it”. Cynthia Warren
Creativity is very important. thats what makes every individual different on this planet.
creativity is very important for kids to express them selves because it helps them to get to know who they are.

Some schools are more focused on teaching a set test or way of doing things. They don't always see that all children are different and that with creative lessons we can reach more children.

Creativity is very important i believe that is what makes every individual different. Children should be allowed to show there creative side.No one knows if they may become the next famous artist or musician.

I believe that allowing children to be in touch with their creative side helps them to express their intrests and learning style. The use of the ROBOT system is what I like to call it, only forces children to tear eachother apart. The reason I say this is because none person lesrns the same way another does. The way that the education system is looking at its policies is unfair and take a large responsibility for why students have behavior problems, drop out and much more. There is no place for the voice of the student body and the things that they need most, expression.
Rondrell...i feel that creativity is needed in school to explore all talents of the students that are not just athletes. Everyone has a talent in some way so why not have diffrent creative activities in schools to exploit those hidden talents
LreaL
Many schools dont look at creativity anymore with our chldren it more based off of how well a students can read, write or do math. but in order to peformed them subject you have to be creavity on working with it on learning it.
